Police apology over Colin Buckley's death

Police have apologised to the family of a man who were not informed of their son's death for almost two weeks.
Colin Buckley's body was found in his Edinburgh home on 17 October but his family was not officially notified until the 29 October.
There were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the 43-year-old's death.
Lothian and Borders Police said officers have given the family a full explanation for the delay in contacting them.
The force apologised for any distress caused.
A police spokesman said: "Lothian and Borders Police responded to an address in Oswald Terrace, Edinburgh, on Monday 17 October following the sudden death of a 43-year-old man.
"Inquiries were launched to establish the circumstances surrounding the man's death. However, during this time, next of kin were not informed.
"Officers visited relatives on Saturday 29 October to officially notify them of the death and offer a full explanation for the police delay in contacting them.
"Lothian and Borders Police apologise unreservedly for any distress caused to the man's family during this time."
